1 1⁄2 lbs (675 g) lean ground beef, chicken or turkey
1 cup water
1 tomato, diced
1 red pepper, diced
1 cup broccoli florets, chopped
1⁄2 cup crumbled feta
4 cups cooked pasta shells
Toppings (optional): chopped green onion
- In a sauté pan over medium heat, brown beef for 8–10 min, stirring frequently. Drain excess fat.
- Stir seasoning with water; add to pan. Add tomato, pepper, and broccoli. Simmer for 5 min, or until thickened.
- Sit in pasta until evenly coated and warmed through, 1–2 min. Sprinkle with feta cheese and green onion, if desired.
