Ingredients


Makes: 4 servings
  • 1 large head romaine lettuce, washed and quartered lengthwise, leaving the stem intact
  • Sea Salt (Grinder), optional, to taste
  • Black Pepper (Grinder), optional, to taste
  • 1/4 C (60 ml) Caesar Dressing, prepared
  • 1/4 C (60 ml) shaved Parmesan cheese
  • 1 C (250 ml) whole-grain or gluten-free croutons

Preparation


 
  • Season romaine with salt and pepper, if desired.
  • Preheat grill or grill pan to medium, and cook wedges cut-side down for approximately 1–2 minutes on each cut side, until grill-marked.
  • Divide among plates. Top with dressing, Parmesan cheese, and croutons.

Tip


 

Tip: Substitute croutons for oven-roasted chickpeas and season with Caesar Dressing Mix or BBQ Chicken & Rib Rub for added flavour.
